This is an updated post for MTN Music Plus of free 150MB and I'm sure
that MTN Music Plus tweak is not something new to most of regular/old
fans here. This post will guide you on how you can turn your MTN Music
Plus of free 150MB to somehow unlimited.
when you exaust the initial 150MB, there will be little intervals
before you continue your surfing. So you need to follow the processes below
The MTN Music Plus of free 150MB was customized only to access the MTN
Music downloading site, but you have nothing to worry, since you know
your way and if not, just continue your reading..., with the below
procedure, you will be able to access any website and use it to surf
with any apps.
How to Get Free MTN 150MB
Simply text
Music to
5900
Wait for few seconds, then check
your MTN music plus data balance by dial *559*2#.
How to Turn the Normal 150MB
to Unlimited
Your browsing will stop immediately you exhaust the free 150MB given to
you, but the below method will guide you on how you can keep renewing
the free 150MB over and over to continue your surfing.
Method 1:
1. After You have exhausted your initial 150MB
2. Make sure your airtime balance is #0.00 to avoid deduction of your money.
3. Text
D to
5900, And another
150MB will be given to you.
4. After getting your reply, You can Check your data balance by dialing *559*2# Now connect and resume your surfing.
5. After exhausting the 150MB given to you again, Send
Cancel7D to
5900
6. Then wait for the reply and send
D again to
5900.
7. Check your balance again when they reply you.
That is how you can keep on renewing the 150MB over and over.
I know this procedure can be a bit stressful that’s the reason I posted another method below which is very much easier.
Method 2:
The
method 1 maybe a bit stressful, here is another method which is very much easier.
1. Download
Sms Scheduler here
2. Launch the app and click on
Schedule SMS
3. Type
5900 in the Phone number field
4. Type
Cancel7D in the message box
5. Confirm your date and time
6. Choose your SMS sending interval (the time interval you think you can finish 150mb) I used 30mins in mine, Save that.
7. Go back to the app and create another entry, And extend the time by a minute.
8. Type
5900 in the Phone number field, Type
D in the message
box, Confirm the date and
save the sending interval to the interval you
saved the first one.
This tweak works on both SimpleServer and Psiphon.
==> After completing the steps above, You can then setup your Psiphon or SimpleServer with the procedure below.
Psiphon Settings For Android Device Users:
» First of all, Download Psiphon apk version from
here.
» Install it on your Android Device
Create New APN settings On Your Phone As Follows:
» Open your phone settings > Go to more > Go to mobile
network > Go to access point names > Select Mtn, Then create new
APN and configure as shown below:
» APN Type: default
» APN: web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
» Proxy: 127.0.0.1
» Port: 8080
» Save And Activate it as your default settings
Then Launch Psiphon Handler, in the handler menu:
» Proxy type: Real Host
» Proxy server: musicplus.mtnonline.com
» Real Proxy type: inject
» Real Proxy server: (leave it blank)
» Select save and click on
“tunnel whole device”.
Click on the option tab
» Region: Japan
» Select more option, And check
“Connect through an
HTTP” then select
“Use the following settings:” then configure as
.
» Host address: 10.199.212.2
» Port: 8080
Save and Connect.
For PC Users to Enjoy this Free 150MB on PC
- Download the modified SimpleServer for MTN Free 150MB here and extract the files inside it to a folder on yourPC
- Run
the SimpleServer.exe and configure your browser to manual Proxy 127.0.0.1 Port
8080
- Tick "Use proxy server for all protocols" if you want it to open all secured sites.
SimpleServer Configuration For Android Users:
» Download Android SimpleServer
here.
» Install it on your Android Device
Create New APN settings On Your Phone As Follows:
» Proxy: 127.0.0.1
» Port: 8080
» APN:web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
» Save And Activate it as your default settings.
Open SimpleServer and Configure the Settings as follow:
» Proxy Host: 10.199.212.2
» Proxy Port: 8080
» Injection query/url: http://musicplus.mtnonline.com
» Injection host: musicplus.mtnonline.com
» Connection Timeout: 10
» Injection line: press enter 4 times
» Log level: Debug
» Close the settings and hit the connect button.
Also remember to power up your SimpleServer or Psiphon with AutoProxy or ProxyDroid, details is shown below
SimpleServer or Psiphon Configuration Settings for AutoProxy
=> First of all, download AutoProxy.apk here.
=> Install and launch the AutoProxy you downloaded and tap on the
Plus Sign (+) at the top right corner of the App interface, it will
reveal the default settings for the Proxy Host, Proxy Port and Host
type.
=> Tap on the Proxy Host and enter this IP: 127.0.0.1 then press OK.
=> Tap on the Proxy Port and enter PORT: 8080 then press OK.
=> Now tap the Proxy Type and select HTTP.
=> Go back to the AutoProxy homepage and you will see the HTTP icon
as the only icon located at the top left corner of the white page
homepage.
=> To connect the AutoProxy, you will need to connect your
SimpleServer or Psiphon first. So start up your SimpleServer or Psiphon
and then come back and
connect your AutoProxy app from the homepage.
Your entire Android app will now be powered to access the internet via SimpleServer or Psiphon!
SimpleServer or Psiphon Configuration Settings for ProxyDroid.
=> First of all, download ProxyDroid.apk
here.
=> Launch your ProxyDroid after you must have downloaded it to your phone.
=> Then enter these IP in the Proxy Host 127.0.0.1 and then for Port, enter 8080
=> Now, look up and Switch ON the ProxyDroid, but remember to connect
your SimpleServer or Psiphon first, then come back to ProxyDroid and
tap on Switch OFF to
switch it ON and you can now minimize it.
=> Launch any application on your Android device and it should connect perfectly.
You are also free to access Google Play Store with any of these applications via SimpleServer or Psiphon.
Note: You are required to choose any one you like out of the both apps, don't use the both app at the same time.
